Thyra Walker, DVM
Dr. Walker's Bio
Dr. Thyra Walker is a native of Lexington, Kentucky. She attended The University of Kentucky and completed undergraduate studies at The University of Tennessee with a major in animal science. Dr. Walker is a graduate of The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She has practiced in Atlanta, Georgia, Columbia, and Camden, South Carolina. She has been with Forest Park Clinic since 1998. Dr. Walker formerly sat on the Alumni Council of The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and currently serves on the Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association (KVMA) as the Community Outreach Coordinator. She has served on the executive board of the Knoxville Veterinary Medical Association.
Jennifer Stephens, DVM
Dr. Stephens' Bio
Dr. Jennifer Stephens received her bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee. Go Vols! She received the American Association of Feline Practitioners Award for “outstanding interest and ability in feline medicine and surgery.” She completed a preceptorship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Stephens and her husband, Larry Stephens, opened Forest Park Clinic in 1997 and later sold the practice. Dr. Stephens continues her association with Forest Park Clinic on a part-time basis.
Erika Wolf, DVM
Dr. Wolf's Bio
Dr. Erika Wolf is proud to be born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in animal science at the University of Tennessee. She completed her veterinary training at St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Since graduation, Dr. Wolf has been a dedicated companion animal practitioner in the Knoxville community. Her daily goal is to provide compassionate, quality medical care to those special four-legged family members.
Dr. Wolf lives in the quaint neighborhood of Forest Hills with her husband and three canine kids. She is thrilled to join the team of Forest Park Clinic!
Wayne Lilly, DVM
Dr. Lilly's Bio
Dr. Wayne Lilly was raised in southern West Virginia on a beef cattle farm. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. After graduation, Dr. Lilly practiced mixed animal medicine for six years and has since practiced small animal medicine. He has a particular interest in dentistry and surgery. Dr. Lilly has assisted licensed wildlife rehabilitators for over 25 years by providing medical care to sick and injured wildlife. He and his wife have two children and three grandchildren. Dr. Lilly enjoys spending time with his family, being involved with his church, gardening, and beekeeping.
Kerry Seyfert-Gee, DVM
Dr. Seyfert's Bio
Dr. Seyfert graduated from Knoxville Catholic High School with honors in 1991. After graduation, she pursued a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Tennessee. She graduated in 1996 with a double major in biology and zoology and a minor in education. In 2002 Dr. Seyfert graduated from the University Of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Seyfert accepted a local veterinary clinic position, where she remained for a decade. When her first child was born, Dr. Seyfert decided to work part-time to be more involved in her children’s lives. Dr. Seyfert continues to live in Knoxville, the town she loves, with her husband, Malcolm, and her daughters, Sarah and Emma.
